IMPLICATIONS OF A LIFE

Mind is an ultimate trickster, call it what you will.

Many names apply / imply

Before you get the ship turned around

Properly, [insert name] has spotted [its] quarry

                     & removed from the scene:

A featureless trailer park settlement in Elephant Butte

Settlers from a land-ark? It’s a local zip code & the fences

Have no names which means neither do the sand-roads.

I was following a van which had gone to ground

In the land of Just This Event, circa 50’s?

I was sidelined from my Timeline

Yet in all boundaries:

a fitted sheet of possibility.

But I was able to get right back onto mine & the segué looped perfectly.

Even now, it seems I wandered into a Stranger Land, me, in a ManCave

A Gamer Den – (I dropped out of gaming shortly after PacMan.)

But it only seems strange in memory:

in RealTime it just was a really

stale place to be,

as the place of a man going to seed.

A fitted sheet of possibilities is going to state it’s me, hopefully to be used again. Brilliant.
