I love the thought of frightening an alligator:

I will ROAR!!

I will watch its leather-face open & 504 teeth glisten with bits of flesh

And I will chase it right back into the pond

with a kick at the water

And a flourish of a hand gesture.

The alligator will lizard home to mommy & daddy

to tell of its awful human experience

and cry crocodile tears.
